Apple recently updated the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro 13.3″. At the same time, the 12″ MacBook is now dead – discontinued by Apple.
Apart from the CPU updates, the price of the MacBook Air is now S$190 cheaper that it was last year in 2018 when Apple finally updated the MacBook Air. The base model now starts at S$1,599.
As for the 13.3″ MacBook Pro, the non-touchbar model is now gone. Every MacBook Pro now comes with a touchbar, whether you like it or not. The base model starts at S$1,899. Given that back in 2017 the non-touchbar 13/3″ MacBook Pro also starts at S$1,898, the updated 13.3″ MacBook Pros are “cheaper”.
