The XBOOM PL series have what LG calls the Meridian’s advanced audio technology to deliver high quality sound with deep base, rich treble and clear vocals. Dual passive radiators on all models help to produce exceptional bass. On the PL5 and PL7, the Dual Action Bass feature uses air pressure to create more bass in a limited space, giving you bass that can feel as well as hear. If you need even more volume, the Sound Boost mode amplifies sound power and widens the sound field. PL7 has dual tweeters to deliver a wide sound stage with excellent detail across the higher frequencies.
For convenience, the XBOOM Go PL series supports hands-free functionality, voice commands and multi-phone pairing. The Wireless Party Link function allows you to wirelessly link up additional LG XBOOM Go PL speakers of the same model to multiply the sound output.
There is also a Multi Colour Lighting feature on the PL5 and PL7 to bring about visual excitement to your music. The speakers detect tempo based on soundwaves, and produce pulses of light in accordance with the speed and beat of the song. All XBOOM Go PL speakers (PL2, PL5 and PL7) come with IPX5 water protection rating. This means they are safe from sprays and splashing of water in all directions.
