Creative Sensemore Air marks the company’s second lineup in its true wireless earbuds product line. First we have the Outlier series, and now we are getting the Sensemore. The new Sensemore Air true wireless earbuds retails for S$119.
Why ‘Sensemore’
As its name suggest, the new earbuds come with what Creative dubs their Sensemore technology, which offers you full control on the level of environmental sounds they want to hear. With Sensemore Mode, which is 5 times more sensitive than Ambient Mode, you can hear much more of speech, and other environmental elements, which are amplified with higher clarity. As a bonus, when set to a higher intensity, it could even benefit folks with mild hearing deficiencies.
Ambient Mode, which exist on the Outlier series such as the Outlier Air Pro, can be used when you would like to hear your music while still being aware of the environment such as while jogging along a busy street. Conversely, you can choose to shut the world out by relying on the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Mode. The intensity of all 3 modes is fully adjustable through the handy Creative app. Do note that ANC on the Sensemore Air is not the hybrid one found on the Outlier Air Pro, and is more similar to the one found on the Outlier Air V3.
New name, new size
Another feature that sets the Sensemore Air apart from the Outlier series is it new pocket-friendly charging case, which is much smaller. Despite the smaller size, it still retains the strong battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge, and 35 hours in total with the charging case. You can even get up to 2 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging, and the charging case can be juiced back up with Qi-compatible wireless charging pads.
Features
Creative Sensemore Air is powered by 6mm bio-cellulose drivers. You can customise the EQ tuning and preset profiles via the Creative app. The earbuds are also IPX5 certified, making it sweatproof and suited for various workouts, both indoors and outdoors. As for microphones, Creative Sensemore Air is equipped with 4 microphones in total; 2 for background noise filtering in ANC mode; 2 for effective voice pick-up during calls. Controls are touch based and can be customized for various functions via the Creative app. Creative Sensemore Air comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity. The earbuds are Certified as a SXFI READY headphone so you can enjoy Super X-Fi Spatial Holography on your local files, though you cannot use it on streaming apps.
