Take Your Pick with TOZO Audio – HT2 ANC Headphones, T21 Open-Fit Earbuds, T6 Wireless Earbuds

TOZO is no stranger to the personal audio department. They have a huge variety of earbuds and headphones models to choose from. In fact, it is a tad too many, making it a little hard to choose what to buy. We’re going to keep things simple in this article as we will focus on three different types of personal audio gear from TOZO.

TOZO HT2 ANC Headphones

Quick run-through of the key specs: You get 40 hours with ANC on or 60 hours without ANC. The HT2 ANC Headphones is supported by the TOZO companion app, which allows you to choose between 6 types of ANC modes, and customise your EQ. The HT2 ANC Headphones also has a 3.5mm jack so you still can use it wired. ANC performance on the TOZO HT2 is average. Low end noises are well managed but high pitched noises do creep in more often. Good to still have ANC on as it offers added noise isolation.

Comfort of the HT2 ANC Headphones is quite good. The headphones themselves are quite lightweight so I don’t feel much pressure on my head. Clamping pressure is also just nice. The ear pads could be more cushioned to give it extra comfort, but otherwise it does its job well. The plastic used on the TOZO HT2 feels a little cheap, slight creaking sounds here and there, but it is still in good shape after weeks of use.

Sound quality of the HT2 ANC Headphones is great for its price. TOZO HT2 packs a solid amount of bass impact to give the overall sound depth and texture. You also have some extension into the sub-bass for a satisfying rumble. Midrange is ok – nothing to special to call out but they do retain their clarity in the overall sound. Treble is controlled, with occasional sparkles here and there, and is overall a comfortable listen. Soundstage is decently wide, offering height and ability to place instruments. The imaging the TOZO HT2 has is surprisingly good for its price.

TOZO T21 Open-Fit Earbuds

The TOZO T21 is a pair of open-fit earbuds, which sits in your ear like how Apple’s AirPods does. So this earbuds is meant for people who want a more open sounding experience, where you can still hear the surroundings in the background. This kind of earbuds are also more suited for people who tend to wear earbuds for extended duration as open-fit has less pressure in your ears.

Quick run-through of key specs: You get up to 10 hours of listening on a single charge, combining it with the charging case will get you a total of 44 hours. TOZO T21 also has support for the TOZO companion app where you can customise the EQ, check the percentage of battery left, and gain access to white noise tracks.

The TOZO T21 are housed in a compact charging case that is easily pocketable and can be charged wirelessly. The earbuds are surprisingly IPX8 water resistant rated and uses touch controls. The TOZO T21 fit just ok for me. I do wish the stems stuck out a little more so they could make more contact in my ears for a more secure fit. Otherwise, the fit I got was light and gentle fit. In terms of sound, the TOZO T21 is one that depends on the fit you get. Bass isn’t the most prominent for me, but it remained a balanced tuning in the overall mix. Midrange is generally ok – vocals come through sufficiently clear, with the upper mids being the highlight for me. Treble offers some shine but there is some roll-off at time. Overall, the TOZO T21 offers a light and airy sound that is largely typical with earbuds of this design except for some that goes for a darker tuning.

TOZO T6 Wireless Earbuds

TOZO T6 have a smaller design as it lacks the stem, so when the earbuds sit in your ears they don’t stick out as much. The TOZO T6 are the typical true wireless earbuds that are popular these days where the ear tips provide a good seal for noise isolation. In fact, this is the new version that got upgrades since its debut back in 2019.

Quick run-through of key specs: You get up to 12 hours of listening on a single charge, and up to 50 hours with the charging case. TOZO T6 also has support for the TOZO companion app where you can customise the EQ, customise the touch controls, and gain access to white noise tracks.

The TOZO T6 fit really well in my ears, providing me with a good seal thanks to the stem that extends nicely into my ear canal. They are lightweight and don’t protrude too much out of your ears. As for sound quality, the TOZO T6 offers a warm sound signature that will generally be well-liked by bassheads. You get an obvious boost in the low end to get satisfying punch, decently controlled to avoid bleed in mids. The upper-mids are elevated to lift vocals. Treble is controlled and doesn’t get a shouty for a comfortable listen.
