Small but powerful
The chassis of the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA401) is under 20mm thin, and underneath it has carefully customised cooling that brings out the best of its new AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Mobile Processors which are built on the groundbreaking “Zen 2” core architecture. The CPUs are combined industry leading 7nm process technology and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 Ti GPU.
High refresh display
The ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA401) equipped with a high refresh rate Full HD (1080p) display that goes up to 120Hz. The display also supports AMD FreeSync technology to eliminate visual tearing that can ruin immersion, and also minimize stuttering and input lag.
The IPS-type panel has wide viewing angles and covers 100% of the sRGB range. It is framed by exceptionally thin bezels, creating an expansive 85% screen-to-body ratio.
Personalised cover
One thing that makes the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA401) stand out over other gaming laptop is the ability to personalise the laptop lid. The ROG splash across the lid has the AniMe Matrix display, which uses 1,215 mini LEDs. You can import animated GIFs and other graphics, build custom animations frame by frame, and type text messages with different fonts. Visualisations react to music and other audio as well.
Look cool feel cool
The ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA401) is the first ROG laptop to feature an ErgoLift hinge that tilts the keyboard at a more comfortable angle. The bottom of the display lifts the back of the machine when the lid is opened, giving the vents in the base more room to breathe. The rear exhausts and heatsink fins are shaped to direct air both up, away from the bezel, and down, towards the vents cut into it. There are 209 heatsink fins totalling 68,868 mm2 of surface area.
Future proof charging
You can charge the laptop either using the DC or USB-C input. Opting for USB-C charging via the 65W power adapter gives you flexibility to handle light work and casual tasks. And when you want to game, simply switch to the DC power which has 180W to power the discrete GPU.
More useful features
The USB-C port can also support an external monitor via DisplayPort 1.4. Also, the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA401) supports Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) connectivity. There is also a fingerprint login option to keep your laptop private. As for the keyboard, the ROG Overstroke technology actuate earlier in the stroke for quicker, more responsive input, while N-key rollover ensures that every press registers, even when entering multiple keys at once.
