With magnetic chargers, you can reposition the phone in both landscape and portrait orientation to consume content in the way like you like while charging. MagSafe chargers are expensive, but you can get cheaper non-MagSafe chargers which still offer the convenience of having it held by magnets. The Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand is one option that retails for S$67.

Design and build quality
The Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand is made from plastic, but it has aluminium finish to give it a modern feel to it. The charging pad for the phone can be adjusted in a 90° range of motion so you can have your phone at the exact angle you want it to be.
Overall quality feels good despite it being made from plastic. The hinge of the charging pad is well tensioned as well. The base of the Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand has anti-slip rubber ring to keep it still on a table surface. On the back, there is a single USC-C port which takes 5V.
Charging and usage
The Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand is a 2-in-1 charger designed to charge your iPhone and AirPods. Do note that even though the main iPhone charging area is magnetic, it is not MagSafe certified. Hence, expect to only get 7.5W charging speeds instead of faster charging of 15W. As for the magnet strength, it holds on to my iPhone 12 Mini securely without a case. I wish the charger had more heft to it as removing the iPhone can sometimes cause the charger to move about.
As for AirPods charging, the area has a small recessed outline that fits the AirPods Pro case well. It would be have been great if the area had some anti-slip surface to prevent the AirPods from moving. There is a small LED indicator located at the front of the Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand to display the charging status. The charger did not feel too hot when charging both devices simultaneously.
Conclusion
2-in-1 magnetic charging docks which are MagSafe certified usually cost over $100. The Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand costs way less at S$67, but do not offer the MagSafe fast charging speed of 15W. If you are ok with this compromise, then the Ugreen Magnetic 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand is decent option for a 2-in-1 magnetic charger that looks modern.
