Creative has new series of true wireless earbuds – the Aurvana Ace and Aurvana Ace 2. Both true wireless earbuds feature the solid-state, all-silicon MEMS-based drivers. The Creative Aurvana Ace series, powered by xMEMS drivers, has been tuned to deliver audio clarity with a wider frequency response ranging from 5 Hz to 40 KHz. These latest wireless earbuds also feature LE Audio with LC3 codec, Bluetooth 5.3, and Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) plus Ambient Mode, along with up to 24 hours of total playtime.
What is MEMS
xMEMS draws its name from MEMS (micro-electro- mechanical systems), a technology that incorporates both electronics and mechanical elements at the microscopic level. The xMEMS drivers are silicon chips with piezo- electric flaps mounted on top that deform and relax rapidly when hit with transitory electrical signals. The resulting vibration moves air, creating sound. Audio quality is expected to be better due to increased accuracy and detailed highs.
Key features of the Creative Aurvana Ace series
Creative Aurvana Ace series features a two-driver system that blends the power of xMEMS technology with custom-tuned 10 mm dynamic drivers. Together, these dual drivers can deliver a wide range of natural sounds. Both the Creative Aurvana Ace and Creative Aurvana Ace 2 offer Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient Mode.
These earbuds also come equipped with six built-in microphones powered by Qualcomm cVc (Clear Voice Capture) noise cancellation technology, ensuring crystal-clear calls even in noisy environments. With up to 24 hours of total playtime, they are great for long commutes, workdays, or extended listening sessions. Furthermore, both earbuds are IPX5 certified, making it ideal for users with active lifestyles. Both Creative Aurvana Ace and Creative Aurvana Ace 2 also support a variety of audio codecs, including LE Audio featuring the LC3 Codec, SBC, AAC, AptX, and AptX Adaptive.

The Creative Aurvana Ace 2 being the more expensive model has more features, namley:
- Qualcomm Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): Able to adapt and fine-tune noise cancellation levels in real-time based on specific environmental conditions and earbud fit. This aims to achieve balance between noise isolation and situational awareness, making them perfect for diverse listening environments.
- Qualcomm aptX Lossless codec: To delivers lossless audio at 16-bit / 44.1 kHz, akin to a CD-level experience
- Design: Creative Aurvana Ace 2 showcases a modern smoked translucent design with a copper highlight, whereas Creative Aurvana Ace opts for a matte black finish with a hint of copper
