Design and build quality
The Z10S Station sports a clean, minimal design in matte grey with metallic accents, and the extension rod has a clean carbon fibre look. At 1.67kg, the vacuum feels light enough in hand and is easy to manoeuvre whether you’re cleaning the floor, reaching under furniture, or lifting it to tackle ceiling corners.

The handle is angled for a natural wrist position, and the controls are positioned intuitively near the display. The high-resolution display gives you real-time information on battery life, suction mode, and maintenance alerts. Build quality is also good, the extension rod is solid and doesn’t wobble when locked into place, and the smaller attachments have reassuring latch clicks when swapping them in and out.

The auto-empty dock is quite a large unit to have in the house, but thankfully it has a modern design with a clean and modern matter grey aesthetic throughout. The dock is mostly from plastic but feels sturdy enough. The base could use a little more weight as it can shift around a little when undocking the vacuum.

Dreame also provided three other attachments to use (apart from the default Soft Roller Brush). You also get an accessory mount made of plastic that holds all the three attachments. However, the mount itself is a light plastic without any anti-slip base. It also doesn’t have any mounting points that allows it to be drilled on go a wall. It would have better if Dreame designed the accessory mount to be drilled on the wall.
Performance and user experience
The Dreame Z10s Station’s main unit features a single trigger-style button to turn the vacuum on and off. On the LCD screen, there are two additional buttons – one for toggling between suction levels, and another to electronically lock or unlock continuous cleaning. The LCD display shows the current suction levels mode, battery status, and any alerts or error messages from the vacuum.

Pressing the electronic lock button puts the vacuum in continuous cleaning mode so that you don’t have to hold down the power button while vacuuming. For longer cleaning sessions, I enable the lock so I can vacuum without straining my finger from holding the button the entire time.
Dreame Z10s Station offers three levels of suction – (1) Med, (2) Eco, and (3) Turbo. Med mode will be default suction level every time the vacuum is turned on. Turbo mode will be where I assume the 150AW of suction will be triggered. I mainly use the vacuum on laminates, tiles and medium pile carpets and it has effective so far. Eco mode feels a little too weak for serious cleaning so I rarely use it.
Blue LED Light for detecting dirt
Dreame Z10s Station has a blue LED light (more like teal actually) built into the main brush head which highlights dust you wouldn’t normally see. This is especially useful when cleaning in darker corners or along skirting boards, as the blue light reveals debris that would otherwise be missed by the naked eye.

This feature is really useful and helps to make cleaning more effective and more fun. Do note that the Blue LED light feature is only available when using the on Soft Roller Brush head. Also, the soft roller brush is designed such that the gap between the brush and wall is only 7mm, allowing you to have more effective edge-to-edge cleaning.
Multiple attachments for various cleaning jobs
Dreame provided a total of three different attachments for the Dreame Z10s Station to use in different cleaning scenarios. All three attachments are short in length, so when attached to the Dreame Z10s Station it turns the vacuum into a compact handheld unit.
Using different attachments for various areas of my home really simplifies the cleaning process. The main attachment I rely on is the Soft Roller Brush, which works well on both hard floors surfaces and carpets (low top medium pile) as well. A plus point is that there is a detangling comb that cuts through hair so it doesn’t get tangled around the brush – less maintenance to do.

First, we have the Mini motorized brush which was useful for cleaning the sofa, gaming chair, and any other sitting surface with fabric upholstery.

Next, the Combination tool was great for cleaning tight spaces are hard to reach corners. Pulling out the brush unit on the tool was useful when cleaning my keyboard, and open shelves. Retracting the brush back makes it ideal for reaching into tight or narrow spaces like the area around the sofa.

Lastly, you have a Soft Dusting Brush which useful for removing dust and debris from hard surfaces. I’d generally use this tool for cleaning big areas such as table top and sideboards.
Hands-Free Dust Disposal
Dust disposal is the area where Dreame Z10s Station separates itself from standard cordless vacuums. Dust disposal is the biggest pet peeve with my current Dreame R20 as dust sometime leaks out when opening the dust flap cover.

But when it comes to the Dreame Z10s, once you’re done vacuuming, simply place the unit back into the dock. Press the dust disposal button and within 10 seconds, the dock automatically sucks the dust and debris from the dust container into a sealed 2.5L antibacterial dust bag. You don’t need to touch the bin, shake out filters, or deal with clouds of fine dust — it’s all completely sealed and contact-free.

Each bag holds up to 90 days of dust before needing replacement. There’s a spare bag included in the box, and replacements are easy to install. This hands-free disposal system makes the whole experience feel cleaner and more hygienic — no more breathing in dust while emptying your vacuum. The dock not only helps to auto-empty the dust, it also charges the vacuum cleaner and is a convenient place to store the vacuum cleaner.
Battery life
The vacuum is powered by a high-speed 108,000 RPM brushless motor and an 8-cell 2,500mAh battery pack. You get up to 70 minutes of run time on a full charge, which is more than enough for a thorough house clean. I typically vacuum for 30–40 minutes in a session, and the battery still has charge to spare. The dock not only empties dust — it keeps the vacuum fully charged and ready for the next use.
Conclusion
The Dreame Z10s Station is not just another cordless vacuum — it’s a cleaning system that simplifies your routine from start to finish. From the powerful suction and blue LED dust detection, to the its hands-free disposal, every part of the experience feels well-considered. The only drawback I can think of is the space that the auto-empty dock takes. But if you have space for that, the Dreame Z10s Station is a well-rounded vacuum clean that you can consider getting for your house.
